What a Great 4th of July Parade!
Did you have a chance to watch the Hobart Chamber of Commerce 4th of July Parade, the best Parade in Northwest Indiana? We had beautiful weather and over 75 participants! It was a record year for attendees as well! Special thanks to the City of Hobart for all their help in making this such a successful parade! Click here to see photos!
July Luncheon
On July 9th, at the Hobart Elks Lodge, 3580 West 61st Avenue, Heather Ennis will be our Guest Speaker. Heather Ennis is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Regional Economic Development Organization. Ennis is the first woman to lead the group and took the position in April.
Heather Ennis was executive director of the Duneland Chamber of Commerce, and president of the Duneland Economic Development Corporation prior to taking her current position.
Lunch networking starts at 11:30, with lunch starting promptly at noon. Cost of lunch is $15 per person. Please RSVP to the Hobart Chamber
"Casual Conversation" Networking Breakfast
Join us on July 23rd at 8:30am at the Hobart Chamber for our monthly "Casual Conversation" networking breakfast. Joe Larson will be speaking about "Kids Against Hunger."
The breakfast meetings are a great way to network! They are also free! Please RSVP to the Chamber.

The Hobart Chamber's new and exciting fall event will feature local craft brewers and wineries with tastings, live entertainment, giveaways, and more. VIP tickets are now available and include unlimited beer, wine, and liquor samples, commemorative beer glass, goodie bag, lanyard with glass holder, hour early entry, commemorative t-shirt.
Also included in VIP tickets is a full buffet prepared by TJ Moloney's and the Radisson chef. Menu will include:

Kibbles Kitchen Accepting Vendors for 3rd Annual Homeless Day What We Offer
Kibbles Kitchen is planning for thier 3rd Annual Homeless Day on August 23rd at Festival Park from11am-5pm. It is an event featuring blessing of the pets, animal rescue and adoptiontents showcasing their organizations, local vendors displaying their products, food vendors, picnic with your pet and more!
They are currently accepting vendors for just $50 for vendors, $60 with electricity. The fee can be written off as a donation and will cover the entire cost of spaying or neutering, and vaccinating a pet of a low income family.
