Janice Ryba, CEO of St. Mary Medical Center, to Speak at October Chamber Luncheon on Thursday, October 9th at St. Mary Medical Center

Janice-RybaJanice Ryba, JD, MJ, MHA, has over 30 years of healthcare experience. She has worked with the Community Healthcare System in Northwest Indiana for the majority of her career in various management and leadership positions since 1984.

In 2007, Janice was appointed CEO of St. Mary Medical Center, a 190-bed not-for-profit hospital in Hobart, IN, approximately 40 miles east of the Chicago metropolitan area. Janice serves on the Board of several local organizations including the Quality of Life Council, American Red Cross of Northwest Indiana, and the Indiana Hospital Association Council on Hospital Governance. She has professional affiliates with American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA), and the Indiana Hospital Association (IHA).

She holds a Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School in Chicago, a Master of Jurisprudence in Health Law from Loyola University, as well as Master of Health Administration from Governors State University.

A native of Chicago, Janice resides in Munster, IN with her husband Randy.

The luncheon will take place on Thursday, October 9th with networking starting at 11:30 and luncheon starting promptly at noon, at St. Mary Medical Center, 1500 South Lake Park Avenue, Hobart. The cost of lunch is $15 per person. Please RSVP to the Hobart Chamber at 942-5774.
