After months of preparation, planning and construction, Realty Executive Premier's restoration of their historic building located at 310 Lincolnway has been completed. "We're excited and proud of what we accomplished," said Realty Executives Premier Owner Mike Tezak. "We have had a long process, and to realize that we are at the end is an incredible feeling."

"For a building of this size and age, it hasn't really been that long," says Realty Executives Premier Owner Pam Tezak. "It felt like a long time due to the process we have gone through but in the end, it really has gone by at a fast pace."

The Tezaks and other Realty Executive agents celebrated the completion of the building along with other members of the Valparaiso community with a DJ and ribbon cuttings of each business to celebrate the new beginnings of this classic building.

"The inside took a little longer to complete due to the windows, everything relied on them being finished before we could move on, delaying things for a little bit," says Mike.

"However once we got past that, things finished out smoothly," says Pam. " The church's congregation is growing and business is now thriving next door."

Both Mike and Pam credited the dedication and patience of the building's tenants and Realty Executives agents as one of the most important factors in the completion of this building and an integral part of the journey towards its completion.

"It's been a team accomplishment for sure," says Mike. "Starting eight years ago we gave our agents the best tools to work with, now we are giving them the best building for them to serve their clients, they're just as much a part of it as we are and it makes me very proud."

"Everyone here has taken such pride and ownership," says Pam. "They were all outside when the building was being built, commenting and adding suggestions on how it can be made even better. We couldn't have done it without them."

Now that the building has been completed and all businesses have been restored to normal, the Tezaks are ready to enjoy the fruits of their labor but at the same time are always looking into the future and how they can continue serving their clients in the best way possible.

"I said to Pam that you need to sit back and enjoy this moment because for this building it will never happen again," says Mike. "As long as we upkeep this building and take care of it, it will last another 30 years, we won't have to do this again."

"I take each situation and ask what can we do better? What can we do smarter?" says Pam. "How can we take it up a notch? That's how you keep moving forward, you always have to keep finding newer, better ways to do things, to make sure you last well into the future."
