Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County Welcomes New Members to the Board of Directors

bgcpoco-new-board-2014Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County welcomed two new members to the board of Directors at the August 18, 2014 meeting. Bonnie Coleman, partner of Hodges & Davis Law Firm, is a member of the Lake County, Indiana State, and American Bar Associations. She is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of Indiana, United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, and the United States Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit. She is a Fellow of the Indiana Bar Foundation. Currently, she serves as an Adjunct Professor at Valparaiso University School of Law and has done so for several years.

Kyle Yelton is employed with Northwestern Mutual. Yelton is extremely involved with the Chesterton School System serving as a coach and mentor to students. He volunteers his time and expertise teaching financial literacy to young people in Duneland/Valparaiso area schools. He is the Chair of the Porter County Young Republican organization and active in the Republican Party. He also is a graduate of the Leadership Academy of Northwest Indiana (LNI class 29) the current program is called the South Shore Leadership Center, a graduate of Leadership La Porte County (Class 27), and most recently a graduate of the Valparaiso Chamber Leadership academy.

Board Chair, Larry Moore expressed excitement welcoming the new members to the Board and thanked them their volunteer time and contributions they will make to the organization.
