Meet Vincent Edwards, the Newest LIFE Team Member

vincent-edwardsVincent Edwards was born on the South side of Chicago but moved to Northeast Indiana at 4 years old. He is the child of a single mother who worked hard to make sure that he received every opportunity available. Because of her hard work, Vincent graduated in the Top 5 students in his class from high school.

He went on to attend Valparaiso University to study Political Science. At VU, he was President of the Club Tennis Team, head of his dorm’s Judicial and House Council, Secretary for his fraternity, Desk Attendant at the Harre Union, and the Entertainment Chair for the University Programming Council.

After leaving VU, he began working at the Boys and Girls Club of Porter County in the KidStop Program. After one year at the Boys and Girls Club of Porter County he was asked to work at Flint Lake Elementary as a Teacher’s Aide. He was honored to work with the children of Valparaiso and to help them grow to become productive citizens. While working in Valparaiso, he fell in love with the area and loves the idea of being able to help spread the good news of Northwest Indiana.

Vincent loves tennis and will watch tennis matches on TV or old matches online. He also loves reading Marvel comics, playing video games, watching TV and movies, and hanging with his friends in downtown Valpo.
