Methodist Hospitals Recognize Nurses during National Nurses Week

Methodist Hospitals celebrates National Nurses Week each year to honor and recognize the dedication of their nurses.

This year’s Nursing Excellence & Outstanding Caregiver Awards were awarded to:

  • Ashleigh Warburton, RN, ICU Unit, Nursing Excellence Award Winner
  • Whitney Houston, Rehab Unit, CNA, Outstanding Caregiver Award Winner

Many other activities were held at Methodist Hospitals throughout the week to honor nurses. National Nurses Week is celebrated each year on May 6th and ends on May 12th, Florence Nightingales birthday. These permanent dates position National Nurses Week as an established recognition event. Hospital across the country host events to honor nurses for the work they do, and educates the public about nurse’s role in health care.
