Ask Jack: No Lime in the Coconut

Ask Jack: No Lime in the Coconut

This week on “Ask Jack”: Lime Scale! Ew! Jack tells us how to best remove lime scale from toilets.

This week's question comes from Paul D.

Paul: My toilet bowl has an access amount of lime scale on it and doesn't always flush away and sometimes gets blocked. Is there anything of industrial strength that can be used or should I just get a new toilet?

Jack:I'd use Limeaway or CLR. Those are the best products that I've come across. Dump some in the toilet before you go to bed and let it sit overnight. But as cheap as toilets are you can also replace your toilet.
