Hobart Chamber of Commerce Seeking Proposals for Website Re-Design, Hosting, Maintenance

logoProject Scope
-The Hobart Chamber of Commerce serves Hobart and Northwest Indiana businesses. We also serve the community through special events and welcoming visitors.
-The Hobart Chamber currently has a website, a redesign was done on the website 2 1/2 years ago.
-Budget - Budget cannot exceed $2,000 for redesign of the website, and cannot exceed $500 for ongoing yearly hosting/maintenance costs.
-Time Frame - We are looking for a new website to be completed by April 1, 2015.

 

Target Audience
-Main users of sites are members looking for event information, non-members seeking information on joining the chamber, new businesses looking to relocate and community visitors looking for city information (restaurants, lodging, etc.)

Design Requirements
-Logo will be provided in .eps format. High-res photos can be provided.
-We want a calendar of events section like those on Crossroads/Duneland Chamber websites.
-We would like to be able to change homepage photos ourselves.
-Space on homepage devoted to monthly, ongoing events.
-We would like to add space for sponosrs on the homepage, and also look into the possibility of ad space in membership directory.

Technical and Infrastructure Requirements
-ISP/hosting capable

Functionality/Programming Requirements
-Contact form on a contact page to go to info@hobartchamber.com 
-We will require a content management system
-We would like to be able to manage as much of the site ourselves as possible. We need to be able to add and edit events, add and edit photos, add and edit text.
-Ability to post and link documents for users to download.
-Would like to make our "Online Pay" option easier to find and more function.

Ongoing Site Maintenance Plans
-How often will the site be updated? Site may have some monthly updating needs including adding or replacing event photos.
-We would like to maintain as much ourselves as possible.
