Liberty Elementary Particpates in County Wide Essay Contest

Liberty-Elem-2012-Essay-ContestLiberty Elementary fourth graders recently competed in a county wide essay contest entitled "What a Police Officer Means to Me." The essay contest was sponsored by the Porter County Sheriff's Department in conjunction with National Law Enforcement Week.

The Liberty Elementary winners were front row, left to right, Alexis Tarnow, Ben Collins and Danny Zielinski. Back row, Sergeant Larry LaFlower, Public Information Officer and Principal Christy Jarka. Danny Zielinski placed third overall in the county.
