Kevin Zeck Chosen IASP District I State Secondary Assistant Principal of the Year

Kevin-ZeckOn Sunday, November 18, the Indiana Association of School Principals (lASP) will recognize Kevin Zeck, Assistant Principal at Chesterton High School in Chesterton, Indiana, as the 2012 District Secondary Assistant Principal from IASP District I. District I is located in northwest Indiana and is made up of Jasper, Lake, Newton and Porter Counties.

The recognition ceremony is a part of the 2012 Assistant Principals of the Year Recognition Celebration, a part of IASP’s annual Assistant Principal’s Conference. The award will be presented at a luncheon at the Indianapolis Marriott with the 2011 State Assistant Principal of the Year, Steve Satterly, Jr. presiding along with IASP Executive Director, Todd Bess and IASP President, Tom Mellish.

District Assistant Principals of the Year are elected by their peers. One principal is honored from each of the 12 districts. From these 12 District Secondary Assistant Principal winners, one will be announced as the 2012 Secondary Assistant Principal of the Year at the luncheon.

The Indiana Association of School Principals is a not-for-profit, professional association serving over 2000 building level administrators in the state of Indiana.
