The Porter County Spelling Bee will be held on Thursday, May 9th at Benjamin Franklin Middle School on Campbell St. in Valparaiso.
There will be a 4th grade contest starting at 6:30 PM. The 5th grade bee will start 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first contest.
This spelling bee is sponsored by the Valparaiso Sunrise Kiwanis; it has been an annual event for many years.
