Valpo Middle School Student Foreign Language Earns Project Awards

Creative-Projects-Contest-KarnevalStudents and Teachers from Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson Middle Schools in Valparaiso took home the hardware at the IFLTA (Indiana Foreign Language Teacher's Association) annual conference this past weekend in Indianapolis. The annual "Creative Projects Contest" allows world language instructors to showcase projects that support language learning. Valparaiso Middle Schools earned the most awards of any district in the state.

The winners included:

Best of Show for Teacher Collaborative Project - Ben Franklin Mardi Gras/Karneval/Carnaval Whole School Event: Collaboratiing teachers: Kandel Baxter, Joanna Peszko, Bob Brooks and Sylvia Reyna
