Immanuel Students Celebrate Grandparents

Grandparents-Day-2013Children and grandparents of Immanuel Lutheran School celebrated Grandparent’s Day. This is a day in which grandparents learn what their grandchildren are doing in school, and children get to spend time with their grandparents learning more about their grandparents’ lives. The grandparents spend time with their grandchild in their classroom.

Principal Joshua Bachman said, “Grandparent’s Day is a wonderful setting where both older and younger generations can learn something new from each other. Immanuel’s students have the opportunity to proudly share their academic work, talents and passions with their grandparents as each participates in the lessons of a 21st century classroom. Grandparents provide years of wisdom and a unique perspective to the classroom dialogue. This interaction results in positive memories that will last for years to come. “
