Online registration begins on Monday - August 4th at 8:00 a.m. Each school will have staff and computer labs available on August 4th through August 6th from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 – 3:30 p.m.
During registration hours, a hotline will be setup to handle any registration issues including forgotten usernames and passwords for the RDS system. Please contact VCS at 531-3004 August 4th – August 6th during registration hours if you have questions.
All incoming 6th grade students at Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson Middle Schools should plan on visiting their school during the registration dates August 4th through August 6th from 8:00 am – 11:00 am and 12:30 – 3:30 pm to provide immunization records and visit the school nurse.
All new elementary students who have not attended Valparaiso Community Schools prior to the 2014-15 school year, including Kindergarteners who attended Kindergarten Round-up, must register at their school on Tuesday, August 5th from 8:00 am – 11:00 am and 12:30 – 3:30 pm.
All new incoming middle and high school students who have not attended a Valparaiso Community School prior to the 2014-15 school year must make an appointment for registration:

Registration Night for Non-English speaking families will be on Tuesday, August 5th, from 5:30 – 7:00 pm at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School – 1700 Roosevelt Road. Bilingual volunteers will help register children for school as well as sign-ups for free Compass Education Tutoring Program and free school supplies. Children grades 4 and up need to be present to receive their backpacks if they need one.
