IU Northwest Connectionz Club to Host Talent Show November 20

rot1Indiana University Northwest’s Connectionz student organization invites the campus and community to its Annual Connectionz Talent Show at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 20 at the Bruce W. Bergland Auditorium, located in the Savannah Center.

The annual show brings the campus and community together in a showcase of talent. The acts scheduled for the show include acting scenes, a glow-in-the-dark light dancer, and vocal performances to name a few. Tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for children aged 10 and under. All those who purchase an adult ticket will be entered into a drawing for a prize from Connectionz’s sponsors and other donations. Proceeds will benefit the club’s awareness campaign of the Connectionz club and its mission.

Connectionz is the gay-straight student alliance at IU Northwest. The group strives to promote diversity and awareness of issues of importance for the LGBT+ community and issues of equality. The members aim to foster a friendly and welcoming environment on campus for all students, faculty and staff.
