“Write Better, Write Now” Seminar for High School Students at PNC’s Westville Campus

PNCThe Purdue University North Central Office of Graduate and Extended Learning, Department of English and Modern Languages and PNC’s Writing Center will collaborate to offer a non-credit seminar for high school students who would like to quickly improve their writing.

The single-night seminar, “Write Better, Write Now” will be taught by Dr. Steven D. Vivian, director of PNC’s Writing Center and linguistics expert. The hands-on seminar will center on improving prose clarity by better understanding sentence structure and by strengthening editing skills.

The program will meet at the PNC Westville campus on Monday, Feb. 9 from 4 to 6 p.m. The registration fee is $25 per student. The registration deadline is Feb. 4 by 4 p.m. Registration includes all materials, pizza and beverages.
