IU Northwest Observes Darwin Day February 19, 2015

rot1The Indiana University Northwest Anthropology Club and Biology Club will celebrate the 206th birthday of famed evolutionary theorist Charles Darwin, and the 156th anniversary of the publication of his seminal work, On the Origin of Species, during its 18h Annual Darwin Day program from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 19 in the Library Conference Center, room 105ABC.

The campus and community are invited to the free event, which features presentations by IU Northwest faculty members on topics in science, humanities, evolution, and Darwin. Cake and coffee will be served.

The Anthropology Club will be selling Darwin fish emblems, Anthropology Club and Darwin T-shirts, Anthropology Club tote bags, and primate Beanie Babies.
