For the 2015-16 School Year, Valparaiso Community Schools will be transitioning to a new student management system: Skyward. As part of a thorough data crosscheck, we will be verifying residency for ALL students during the registration process.

For families with students in multiple schools, residency documents need only be provided to one school during registration. After providing residency documents, parents/guardians will receive login information to register their students in our new Skyward Student Management online system for the upcoming school year.
Student registration may be completed on-site at the school or at home.
Residency Verification / Registration will take place at all schools Tuesday August 4 and Wednesday August 5 from 8-11 am and 12:30-3:30 pm., and on Thursday August 6 from 12:30 – 3:30 and 5 – 8pm
VHS will have also have registration Friday August 7 from 8-11 am.
You may register all of your students at one school location.
INCOMING 6TH GRADERS
If you are the parent/guardian of an incoming 6th grader, please bring documentation for required vaccinations to your respective middle school during the on-site registration dates and times.
NEW TO VCS STUDENTS
For students new to the Valparaiso Community Schools for the 2015-16 school year, excluding students who enrolled through Kindergarten Roundup, the enrollment process requires an appointment with school personnel. Please refer to our website and complete the New Student Information Form by clicking on the link provided below your school. New-to-VCS students entering VHS, BFMS, or TJMS will need to meet with a guidance counselor prior to registering. Appointment window selections are available on these schools' New Student Information Forms.
