I'm back to work today after spending some much needed time with my family in Texas. I sure wasn’t expecting winter’s latest sleight of hand trick when we landed in Chicago yesterday! Another blustery snowstorm after a stretch of mild, spring-like weather. Wow! But it is very good to be back home in Indiana. And I know spring is coming; it always does.
That hopeful longing for warmer weather and fresh buds blooming always starts me looking forward to Easter. We’re just one month out from this very important Sunday for our church. One month! We’ll have hundreds of visitors that we want to make feel welcome as they are encouraged to understand that hope has a name—it’s Jesus Christ. I would like to ask you to help make this Easter one of our best ever!
- Pray that God will change lives forever through the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- INVITE 2 or more people to join you for Easter weekend services.
- Commit to attend the 6:45a sunrise service on Easter morning if you can. We need to make room for visiting families in later services by having 500 of you commit to come to the sunrise service. Yes, 500!
- Serve our Calvary families and guests by helping in Calvary Kids on Easter weekend. April Millard, our Children’s Ministries Director, tells me that we need 165 people to keep that ministry humming through 7 Easter weekend services. Contact her if you can help.
