Three Chesterton High School Seniors Are College-Sponsored National Merit Scholarship Winners

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation has named three Chesterton High School seniors National Merit Scholarship winners.

Karlyn Layman, Bryan Pamintuan and Nolan Poczekay have all received college-sponsored Merit Scholarships from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN.

Layman plans to study biology at Purdue University. She is the daughter Chris and Jeff Layman of Valparaiso.

Pamintuan plans to study engineering at Purdue University. He is the son of Hilda Tsai and Al Pamintuan of Chesterton.

Nolan Poczekay plans to study engineering at Purdue University. He is the son of Thomas and Jamie Poczekay of Westville.
