A fox and her kits recently made a home under our deck, next to our pool. We noticed them the first week in April. According to a naturalist at the Dunes, they typically use already existing dens from other animals. The foxes begin searching in December which is when we first noticed the mother but thought nothing about it. The mother had moved into an old groundhog den and had her three kits. They often ran around on our deck and pool cover. According to the naturalist, they should have stayed until Memorial Day but due to a tree removal at my neighbors, they relocated to a quieter area.
