The Family & Youth Services Bureau presents a free workshop about step-parenting on Wednesday, March 21, 6 to 7:30 pm at the FYSB Valparaiso office, 253 W. Lincolnway.
This workshop is part of the Family Life Workshop Series and is led by David and Mary Beth Sexton who combined have over 40 years of experience working with families in transition, high conflict families, and issues related to parenting.
Topics discussed include: the expectations of step families, different types of step families, stages of the step-family relationship, and dealing with different rules at different homes.
