The Valparaiso Family YMCA welcomes Liz Burnham as the new Marketing Director. Ms. Burnham comes to the Y with over twenty-five years of marketing – ten years nonprofit marketing experience and over fifteen years of corporate marketing expertise. Some of the companies include: South Bend Symphony Orchestra, The Joffrey Ballet, Pivot Point International, 3 Com Corporation and Art in Progress.
“The Y to me is about "Transforming" mind, body, and spirit. As the Marketing Director, my job is to spread the word about all the wonderful things the Valparaiso YMCA does to impact this community. It is a joy to communicate this information to our members and beyond. Every day the Y offers opportunities for adults and children to make social change happen in their lives and I have the privilege to be a part of that amazing process!” Liz also says, “My expertise is in directing the creative process through team management, strategy and short and long term marketing planning.”
Liz Burnham lives in Michigan City, Indiana with her husband, Don Olson. She returned to Michigan City from the Chicago area eleven years ago. Michigan City is her hometown.
