Can you guess who are the two great sports stand-outs from Valparaiso High School, now attending Purdue and Notre Dame, who met and greeted visitors for an autograph session last Sunday?
Hosted by the Valparaiso Parks and Recreation Foundation at the Old Fairgrounds Park, SPORTS SUNDAY IN THE PARK was Sunday, Sept. 27th.
This event was free and open to the public. Volunteers from the VHS athletics programs will ran sports themed inflatables and kids activities. Inflatables included football toss, baseball pitch, basketball free throws, and a bungee run. Concessions were also available.
The Valparaiso Parks Foundation fosters growth and development of the parks of Valparaiso by creating new initiatives, encouraging active involvement and seeking philanthropic support.
