The 2009 Trick or Treat Fun Nite Presented by Valparaiso Community Festivals and Events is almost here! Downtown Trick or Treat Night is scheduled for Friday, October 23, 2009 - 4:00 - 6:00 pm.
Fall is the perfect time to spend time in downtown Valparaiso. Check out the “spooktacular” events planned for this special day!
Downtown Trick or Treat, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Wear your spookiest or silliest costume and go door-to-door in Valparaiso’s downtown to get some tasty treats from our restaurants and retailers.
Free Hayrides will be provided by the Valparaiso Parks Department!
The Great Pumpkin Lighting at 6:15 pm.

The Second Annual Pie Baking Contest hosted by Old World Market will be held at the Fall Festival! Are you an apple pie expert? A pumpkin pie master? How about a new spin on a traditional favorite? Now’s your chance to shine in the Fall Harvest Festival Pie Baking Contest. Details can be found at www.oldowrldmarketonline.com. All pies will be sold by the slice at Blackbird Café and proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Club.
