The_Enclave_Project_has_partnered_with_t-1The Enclave Project has finalized our winter workshop starting in February. We have been working along side the Valparaiso branch of the Boys & Girls club of Porter County to create a free class that 15-20 students can explore their own creativity and learn express themselves through art!

The class begins Monday February 2nd from 4:00-5:00PM. Our Teaching artist, Deanna Abner, will be teaching elements and principals of art while sharing 3 great projects throughout our two month workshop. The first project on our list will allow the students to: paint, use construction skills (hammer, nail, etc), design, and develop a love for art that Deanna & I both share.

On February 8th, The Enclave Project is hosting their first annual "Cork & Canvas" event of 2015. It cost $45 and its comes with 1 FREE glass of wine, FREE cheese and crackers, and the knowledge that you are helping students develop their ways of expressing themselves. For each ticket pays for the resources for 1 student we will impacting at the Boys & Girls Club. It will pay for their materials, teaching, and over all experience they will have.

We are excited to see how The Enclave Project can inspire and work with our community to help students explore the arts!
