The Blunt Truth about Marijuana – Parent and Youth Edition will be held at the Portage IMAX, 6550 US Rte 6, Portage on April 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. This event, free and open to the public, will provide current research, timely facts and down-to-earth examples about marijuana. At the event we will have a press room set up next to Theater 3. Porter County Sheriff’s Department PIO Larry LaFlower will be available to answer questions.
The Porter County Substance Abuse Council members, over 60 strong, care about the youth in Porter County. Our sister coalitions, Lake County Substance Abuse Council and LaPorte County Drug Free Partnership also have large numbers of members who care about the youth in their counties. Together these three leading coalitions are sponsoring this event.
