Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County’s Valparaiso KidsCamp, working in partnership with Valparaiso Community Schools, will be providing transportation from the Valparaiso Boys & Girls Club to Thomas Jefferson Elementary for students taking summer school classes. When summer school is finished for the day, transportation will then be provided back to KidsCamp at the Valparaiso Club. This transportation partnership will begin on June 8 and last through the end of summer school.
“We are very excited to be working with Valparaiso Community Schools on providing transportation for KidsCamp members to Thomas Jefferson Elementary School for summer learning. This is just one more step in ensuring children have a safe place to go before and after school – even during the summer,” states Maggie Freeman, program director for Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County’s Kidstop program.
