Opportunity Enterprises is proud to host its first Porter County family ice cream social of the year on Wednesday, July 8 at 5:00 p.m. The event will be held at OE’s main facility located at 2801 Evans Ave. in Valparaiso. All families and caregivers of a loved one with a disability are encouraged to attend. OE works to maximize self-sufficiency and enrich the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
OE will also host an additional family social for Lake County residents on July 16th at 4 p.m. at its Respite home located at 1819 W 64 Pl. in Merrillville. Respite services provide short-term relief of responsibilities while individuals receive quality care by staff trained in special needs.
We are happy to give families an opportunity to meet others who may be experiencing the same milestones, challenges and triumphs. Families are encouraged to join us for an evening of socialization and learn about people’s incredible journeys with OE,” said Ellen DeMartinis, CEO of Opportunity Enterprises.
