Girl Scouts Have Spooky Fun at 2015 Fall Festival

Girl-Scouts-Have-Spooky-Fun-at-2015-Fall-Festival-01Girl Scouts from Valparaiso and Washington Twp. spent an evening of fun at their Fall Festival held at the National Guard Armory on Friday, Oct. 23. Each girl was accompanied by her “date” (father, grandfather, older brother, or other adult). Amid decorations of pumpkins, ghosts, and dangling critters, the couples enjoyed dancing, story-telling, crafts, games, snacking, costume contest, and having a "formal" picture taken.

Girl Scouts USA is the largest volunteer organization for girls and women in the world. Started by Juliette Gordon Low in 1912 in Savannah, Georgia with just 12 girls, Girl Scouting today has millions of members in big cities and small towns all over the world.
