Birthday parties are a great way to make fun memories, especially when they take place at the Valparaiso Family YMCA. We have several beautiful facilities for venues, including the pavilion area, our party room and pool, and Valpo Skates.
The Y is currently taking reservations for birthday parties in 2016.
Our Y Pavilion, located at the back of the YMCA facility, is available for rentals! The Y Pavilion, which can hold up to 250 people, has heated restrooms, an enclosed playground, and picnic-style tables that each seat up to eight people. The Y Pavilion is made complete with our stage, sound system and wireless internet. In the evening, the Y Pavilion is especially beautiful.
Kids LOVE to have their birthday parties at the YMCA. We have friendly staff who wants to help celebrate your birthday, and organizing your party here is very easy! We can reserve the Y Pavilion, the party room and pool, or Valpo Skates for your special occasion.
Pool parties include an hour in the pool and an hour in a party room, and 15 minutes to dress. All paper products are provided.
Reservations for pool parties can be made for Fridays 6:00 - 8:15 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 5:30 - 7:45 pm. The reservation will cost $150 for up to 15 people ($10 per additional person), and a $50 non-refundable deposit is due no later than two weeks before the event.
If kids love to skate, then there is the option for skating parties, held in the Benjamin Franklin Annex located at 605 Campbell Street. Reservations can be made for Fridays 6:00 - 8:00 pm, and Saturdays 1:00 - 3:00 pm.
Three-hour private rental: Saturday 5:00 - 8:00 pm or 6:00 - 9:00 pm $300.00 for under 100 people – over 100 people $400.00. We need two weeks’ notice for these parties.
Two hour party that includes skate rental for up to 20 participants. $125 – an additional $5 per person over 20 people.
All payment is due no later than two weeks BEFORE the event.
