All Girl Scouts now can register for the annual Valparaiso/Washington Twp. Area Girl Scout Day Camp. ”Zoom into Nature” is the theme for this summer’s Girl Scout Day Camp at Butternut Springs June 12-16, 2017.
Located just north of Valparaiso, Camp Butternut Springs offers wide open spaces for girls to explore the out-of-doors, cook lunch over a campfire, take a swim, fish in the lake, and discover nature all under the supervision of trained adults.
Sponsored by the Valparaiso/Washington Twp. Area Girl Scouts, Daisy, Brownie, Junior, Cadette, and Senior Girl Scouts from any city or town are welcome to register for this camp. Cost for the 5-day camp is $55.00 and includes lunch and snack every day, a camp T-shirt, camp patch, supplies, and fun activities learning about the great out-of-doors. Camp runs from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM each day with a Family Event on Thursday afternoon.
