It was a very special night at Culver’s in Valparaiso on Sunday. The new Scoopie mascot was unveiled for the first time. To celebrate, the eatery threw a party! Dinner With Scoopie was held Sunday July 8, 2012 from 5-7pm in the festively decorated dining room of the restaurant. This was the first, but definitely not the only time that Scoopie will come out to make an appearance.
“We’re hoping to do the event monthly to promote business,” office manager Denny Dalka said. “It’s fun for the kids!”
Patrons enjoyed the edibles that Culver’s is famous for as well as many fun activities. There was face painting, balloon animals created by Gail Knip of Twist and Smile Balloons, a coloring contest (the winner received a free dinner for four people!), and of course, Scoopie!
