Exhibitor Spots Still Available for 2015 Earth Day

The Recycling and Waste Reduction District of Porter County continues to accept online registrations for exhibitors to participate in the 2015 Northwest Indiana Earth Day 10th Anniversary Celebration on April 18.

Organizations and businesses from around Chicagoland and beyond that provide environmental awareness, services and products are invited to participate. More information and online registration is available on the district’s website, www.ItMeansTheWorld.org.

Held in three buildings at the Porter County Expo Center in Valparaiso, the Northwest Indiana Earth Day Celebration attracted more than 3,200 attendees in 2013, the largest attendance in the event’s nine-year history. Early registrants will enjoy the maximum advertising benefits of the event.

In other news, Northwest Indiana Earth Day Celebration attendees who have pre-ordered and paid for rain barrels will be able to pick them up during the event. The purchased barrels will be available between 9 a.m. and noon.

Information on purchasing the 55-gallon barrels is available on the Recycling & Waste Reduction District of Porter County website, www.ItMeansTheWorld.org. Mail-in orders must be received by April 13; online orders must be placed by April 15.
