United Way of Porter County and Lake Area United Way, in partnership with the Northwest Indiana Times and One Region, are taking an active role in learning the needs of the community through the “Let’s Talk” Community Conversations held across Lake and Porter County.
To date, 64 conversations have been held with 438 NWI residents, sharing great thoughts on how to make NWI an even better places to live. The talks focus on health, safety, transportation, education, and more. Information gathered will help local non-profits implement meaningful changes and foster collaboration throughout the counties.
