JobSource, the community employment division of Opportunity Enterprises, has opened a new Lake County location as of Monday, August 10th. The new office is located at 8004 Tyler Street in Merrillville, IN. JobSource helps employers find qualified employees with disabilities, individuals find meaningful employment, and also provides technology adaptations for individuals with disabilities.
“We have served residents of Lake County since 1999 and are thrilled to open this new location. It will improve and expand our ability to assist individuals with disabilities in finding meaningful employment in the community,” said Kathleen Parks Savich, Director of Community Employment at OE.
JobSource has more than two decades of experience with placing and supporting qualified individuals with disabilities in community employment and utilizes innovative protocols to ensure success. Services include pre-vocational training programs, on-site job coaching, an assistive technology program, and more.
JobSource also has offices in Porter and LaPorte Counties. They are the preferred employment agency for more than 100 businesses throughout Northwest Indiana.
