The Valparaiso Police Department is introducing two new K9s to the department, bringing the total K9s to five for the department. The two new K9s are Kaiser and Vega.
Kaiser's new partner is Officer Nicholas Kobitka and Vega's new partner is Officer Ryan Sobierajski. Both K9s and officers have successfully completed their training. Each have earned certifications with the North American Police Work Dog Association.
Both begin their duties immediately.
