This morning Mayor Costas and Chief Brickner swore to duty the newest member of the Valparaiso Police Department. Sarah Drexler, 26 yrs old, was sworn to duty in a ceremony at City Hall with family members, friends and numerous officers present.
Sarah is a Lowell High School graduate and a graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. She previously worked for Hebron Police Department and for a private security firm.
Officer Drexler will begin her duties immediately at the Valparaiso Police Department. Congratulations Officer Sarah Drexler.
