The Valparaiso Police Department is announcing the promotion of four officers to the rank of Patrol Sergeant. Officers Andrew McIntyre, Chris Allison, Joe Hall and Todd Kobitz have all been promoted.
Andrew McIntyre is a 8 year veteran of the department and previously had been assigned to the Investigation Division.
Joe Hall is a 11 year veteran and Chris Allison is a 10 year veteran of the department and both have been working in the Patrol Division.
Todd Kobitz is a 17 year veteran of the department and had been assigned to the Porter County Drug Unit prior to being promoted.
All officers will begin their supervisory duties in the Patrol Division immediately.
