Now through October 23rd, we encourage community members to join us in raising funds for our “Fund Your Park” campaign! All money donated throughout this 45 day campaign will go towards building the Native American Play Area of the Natural Playground at Sunset Hill Farm! This will be an accessible play area focusing on natural materials and concepts to provide a safe, educational and most importantly FUN facility for kids to enjoy! To contribute or learn more about the project, please visit fundyourpark.org and select our project on the home page. All contributions make a difference in getting us to our $25,000 goal!

Yoga at the Park
Saturdays, September 13-November 1, 8:30-9:30am, Sunset Hill Farm, $45/Series or $7/class

Join our certified instructor for Hatha yoga class with an optional vinyasa flow sequence. The class will stimulate the musculature through breath and movement and is the perfect way to start the day by preparing both body and mind. All levels welcome. Register by calling 219-734-0203.

Boot Camp at Sunset Hill
Saturdays, September 20-November 1, 7:15-8:15am, Sunset Hill Farm, $42/Series or $7/class

Come to Sunset Hill to participate in a fun and invigorating exercise program to help shape a better version of you! Class will be held outdoors (indoors for inclement weather). Instructor: Sal Anzalone. Register by calling 219-734-0203.

Weekly Open Studio with Acrylics
Thursdays, 6-8pm and Saturdays, 10am-12pm, Sunset Hill Farm, $5

All skill levels are welcome to join our experienced instructor to learn the ins and outs of acrylic painting. All materials are provided and artists will leave with their own finished work of art!

Meditation Mondays
Mondays, 6-7:30pm, Brincka Cross Gardens, $7

Join our Cynthia Smith each Monday at Brincka Cross Gardens to learn the ins and outs of meditation, which will focus on both the mind and body. Register by calling 219-734-0203.

Weekday Walk at Sunset
Wednesdays (through October 29th), 10/1-10/8 at 5:30pm and 10/15-10/29 at 5:00pm, Sunset Hill, Free

Please note the changes in start times as we move into October due to the shorter days! Feel free to join us each week as we walk the challenging terrain of the park. Open to men and women, 18 years or older.

Family Hike & Meet the Animals
Saturday, November 1st, Hike-10-11am & Animals 11-12pm, Sunset Hill Farm, Free

Join our park naturalist for a fun and educational hike around the diverse terrain of Sunset Hill Farm! Following the hike, families will get an up close and personal look at the farm animals that call Sunset Hill Farm led by their caretakers.

Meditation Workshop
Saturday, November 1, 2-4pm, Brincka Cross Gardens, $25

Join our trained instructor to learn the ins and outs of meditation, focusing on the mind and body!

Reiki Level I
Sunday, November 2, 1-4pm, Brincka Cross Gardens, $50

Reiki is a Japanese technique for working with the life energy that flows through our bodies. This Reiki Level I class will teach techniques to increase and direct that energy for relaxation and optimal well being.

Acrylic Painting at South Haven Library
Monday, November 3, 6-8pm, South Haven Public Library, $10

All skill levels are welcome to join our experienced instructor to learn the ins and outs of acrylic painting. All materials are provided and artists will leave with their own finished work of art!

Acrylic Painting at Hebron Library
1st & 3rd Tuesday, November 4 & 18, 11am-1pm, Hebron Public Library, $10

All skill levels are welcome to join our experienced instructor to explore the art of acrylic painting. All supplies are provided. Participants aren’t required to attend both sessions to finish their project but are welcome to attend both to advance their skills.

Healthy Holidays

Educators from Purdue Extension will provide tips and techniques for making your upcoming holiday meals healthier!
