Bikin’ and Eggs Family Ride is a special event of the Valpo Parks Department which starts off with a leisurely ride on Valpo Pathways between Foundation Meadows and Rogers-Lakewood Park. The fun, family-oriented ride takes place on Saturday, June 27 with check-in beginning at 8:30 AM and the ride at 9:00 AM. Registered riders get a t-shirt and a light breakfast at Foundation Meadows after the 3-mile morning bike ride.
There will also be a bike rodeo, inflatables, face painting and more. Price is only $10 per person; a family of three is $25, with each additional member at $10. Ages 3 and under are free. Registration after June 15 includes the light breakfast and activities, but t-shirts are available on a first come, first served basis. All ages and abilities are welcome. Helmets are required for all participants. Individuals and families can log on to wwwValpoParks.org to register or stop by the Parks office at 3210 N Campbell St. to register.
