The City of Valparaiso Public Works Department will be paving several Parks Department sites this week beginning Wednesday, July 29. Ogden Gardens parking spaces along Harrison Blvd will be affected as well as the Beta Shelter and Forest Park Rotary Shelter areas. The roadway inside Rogers Lakewood Park will also undergo resurfacing, as will the entrance drive into Butterfly Meadow playground at Foundation Meadows. Visitor parking at the administrative office at 3210 N Campbell St. will be affected, so visitors should park at the Butterfly playground lot and follow the sidewalk to the office. Valparaiso Public Works advises that it is best to avoid Butterfly Meadow playground for play while they are milling and paving the roadway.
