Donate on “Giving Tuesday” for Victims of Hurricane Sandy and East Coast Storms

WDSOAfter “Black Friday” and “Cyber Monday,” consider making a donation on “Giving Tuesday.” Members of Chesterton High School’s WDSO will be collecting pledges on “Giving Tuesday” for the victims of Hurricane Sandy and East Coast Storms.

On Tuesday, November 27, donors can call WDSO and make a pledge. WDSO will be taking donations over-the-phone or at the station. All donations that are collected will be given to the American Red Cross.

Calls can be made to 983--3777 during the hours from 6 a.m. through 5 p.m. Any pledge amount, large or small, will be accepted. The station hopes to collect at least $500 - $1,000. When all of the donations are collected, WDSO will present a check to the American Red Cross of Porter County who will send it to the needy areas.

So, mark the date of Tuesday, November 27th to call WDSO at 983-3777 and make a donation to help the people devastated by the storms that hit the east coast.
