“1st Source is pleased to donate this home to Habitat for Humanity of Porter County to ensure a local family has a place to call home," Ax said. "We’re glad to partner with Habitat to provide more affordable housing in our community.”

He added that he is happy to help provide affordable housing to families in need.

Elizabeth Allen, 10 Year Plan Coordinator for the Coalition for Affordable Housing, was also in attendance.

Barnett and Johnson were ecstatic about receiving the house. They both had a number of wonderful ideas about involving the community as well as Valparaiso University students.
