When 11-year-old Matt Witz’s cat Marty accidentally got outside last night the little girl got pretty scared and ran all the way up a tree outside the family’s home to keep safe.
When the Witz’s finally found Marty all the way up there in a big tree, they were worried that she wasn’t going to be able to get down.
But luckily, it was the Valparaiso Fire Department to the rescue.
The Valpo FD was able to help Marty down from the tree and the Witz’s are pleased to report that Marty is back safe and sound with Matt.
