La Porte Savings Bank employees volunteered their time and talents at Duneland YMCA on Monday. Thirty three people arrived at the Y at 8:00am ready to work. Several volunteered to paint. The amount of work they were able to accomplish in four hours was incredible. Both the North and South Gyms were completely repainted, along with several sets of hallway doors and the Y's Conference Room. Six employees volunteered to help with administrative work. They produced a good sized mailing, and organized files.
Three people from the bank went to Duneland Y's Early Learning Facility and helped in the Infant and Two Year Old Rooms. Volunteers came from multiple La Porte Savings Bank locations including La Porte County, Porter County and Michigan to work. We sincerely thank La Porte Savings Bank for their generosity of spirit and the dedication of their employees.
