Valparaiso High School Alliance of Students Against Poverty hosted its annual benefit concert last May, at Valpo Velvet Ice Cream, located at 55 Monroe Street in Valparaiso, featuring a number of local musicians. Guests paid a $5 dollar minimum donation for entry and all benefits went to Hilltop Neighborhood House! T-shirts, posters and lemonade were also sold at the concert, with all proceeds benefiting Hilltop. The concert... raised $4,000.00! Valparaiso High School ASAP student representatives came down to visit the children today and brought t-shirts for the kids at Walt's Place!
