Porter County Master Gardeners Spruce Up the Gardens at Visiting Nurse Association Hospice Center in Valparaiso

A team of Porter County Master Gardeners recently gathered to spruce up the gardens at Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) Hospice Center in Valparaiso. The Center garden is a continuing project led by Advanced Master Gardener, Martha Seroczynski, and funded yearly by a $250 Community Grant from the Porter County Master Gardeners Association (PCMGA).

Since 2005, PCMGA has given more than $45,000 in gifts and grants to organizations in and around Porter County, IN. In addition to the VNA, 2016 grant recipients are:

In keeping with their goals of community outreach and "helping others grow" the PCMGA invite individuals, groups, or charitable organizations in and around Porter County to apply for $1,000 scholarships, $500 community service donations, or $250 community grants beginning in January, 2017.
