Franciscan Health Dyer: Barnes & Noble Books Christmas Cheer

Franciscan-Health-Dyer-Barnes-and-Noble-Books-Christmas-CheerSt. Francis Center at Franciscan Health Dyer recently received hundreds of new books donated by the Barnes & Noble store in Valparaiso, as part of the store’s annual Holiday Book Drive. The books will be used by residents at St. Francis Center in Dyer. “We are so thrilled to receive this donation of four, large boxes of brand new books.

Each resident on average checks out two books at a time. They love to read,” said Guadalupe Florez (above), community relations specialist for the center. St. Francis Center is an adolescent residential treatment program for youths aged 12 through 18. Staff members provide a caring, structured and controlled environment to promote success.
