Habitat Porter County is pleased to announce that we will be partnering with Tina, a veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and her teenage daughter for this year's Veteran Build. Construction for the three-bedroom ranch with an attached garage will begin this spring north of Valparaiso near Edgewater and Sapphire Lane.
We are very excited to bring this opportunity to the community to show our appreciation to a deserving veteran. Habitat has been offered a $25,000.00 matching grant to help fund the house construction cost of $80,000.00. Habitat is looking for generous individuals and sponsors for this event.
